A Tribute to Dusty Peak

Celebrating the life of a great husband, father, surfer, community leader

I just wanted to say that I knew Dusty a long time ago. And my heart goes out to the family that I never knew. We grew up together in Malibu and shared the youtful experiences of our time. Dusty had a way about him that was unusual in the fact that he made you laugh just with his mannerisms. You could not help but like him. His casual demeanor, and always with a smile, he never let you down. He taught me how to surf Big Dume(even at the time I did not live on the Point) I just had a key. This has been a sad day for me, but I am very impressed with all the people that he knew and cared for and who cared for him. What great guy to have known and fortunate to have grown up in the time frame that we did. I will always rember Dusty, He was just one of those you don't forget. Thank You for allowing me to this site, I feel that it is a priviliage.

Sincerely,

Thanks Daniel I have been very slow at responding to the lovely notes people have written but the more time goes by the more the healing begins. He is very missed and was the love of my life.I am blessed  that we had 3 beautiful  children together . Life goes on but it is very different without him. Thanks again for taking the time to write a sweet note. Denise
