Hey Chris, good to hear from you, Isn't it great how Dusty's got us all communicting with each other again. This is something. Are you still living in Paradise Cove? Does Rich Aird, Tom Shamp and Joe Pascu still live there? Or am I living in a time warp? Probably the later eh? Anyway Chris, I was thinking of going to the 40 year Samo reunion. are you planning on going? I'm also trying to get the Torberts to go too.Was looking forward to seeing Dusty, darn it, Oh well, he'll be there in spirit,Let me know Chris. -------- Aloha; Dusty

Ah, Grasshopper! Do you not know that to grasp the wind is to grasp nothing? My litle weedjumper, have you not understood? Chris, you apparently are alive and well. How are you. I keep thinking all the times we are in Malibu that I will run into you but never have. I always ran into Dusty, however, and maintained a good relationship with him. It seems that Dusty's passing is reconnecting a lot of people. I've been gone for so many years but its amazing how the memories are fresh as if they happened yesterday. I live in Redding now and I can't go anywhere here without remembering our two week trip up here for my bachelor party. Faking a broken leg so you could get out of work? Charging everything on credit cards. That was 1971 I think.
Drop us an email to say hello sometime.......Steve Rozsa

Hi Chris:
Yes Dusty did get us all buzzing around didn't he...His tribute was a step back in old Malibu ...I, a little panicky, looking at all the sunglasses and hats just didn't add up to 40 or so years of not seeing the many faces of change. Who was who... unrecognizable truth...having been out of the Malibu for so long my vision was no longer clear. Oh but for Dusty who lingers in everyone mind, a man of all seasons without doubt sublime.
Missed seeing you... I could have given you a big hug for our more recent visits, you have not changed.

Chris, Thanks for the response. I wasn't home to call or I would have called. I didn't want to mention Lulu, because that was a long ting ago and I have begun to doubt it really happened. But as I remember, wasn't it lude lude? I think she married Ron, so I want to forget the memory. I really wish I could have been there/. The paddle out was as amazing as I thought it would be. Dudsy, I could tell a lot of stories that I dont' think were appropriate for his memorial. Of course, I can tell a lot of stories about us too that I might like to forget. Particularly one night in Havisu driving back from Sundance where we found ourselves off the road and burried in sand up to the axles, with a camper full of passed out people who didn't know how close they came to a telephone pole and then you and I walking all the way to Havisu landing at 3am talking about how amazing it was that we weren't all killed.
God has been merciful and gracious to us. I'd love to see you and say hello next time I'm in Malibu............Steve
