You should have seen him!! He was stylin'! Dusty was a generous, happy, easy guy who was a truly positive survivor of a childhood home that was less than perfect. He stayed upbeat, fun loving and private about the daily trials he must have faced. A caretaker to all and a die hard Malibuite!! I am proud to have been his friend. We were planning a small reunion of the first Malibu Park grads just before our 40th Samohi Reunion in September of this year. My heart aches because I will miss him so. I can only imagine the pain and heartache of Denise and kids. But what a way to go!! Just go to sleep.....but to early, Mr Peak. Couldn't you have waited until you truly had become "the Old Man and the Sea? Godspeed, Dust and hope we meet again. Save me a spot on the beach of heaven for that's where you surely are! Love and hugs, Leslie
