Remember all those rides on the beach? It's not allowed anymore. I will try to bring my Mom as well (she is 92)...not sure if she can navigate walking in the sand, though I do take her "hiking" to the top of Pt.Dume Headlands,and she loves that view and exercise.

I read Julie's and your story of riding on the beach and remember your riding there a lot (espciality one time I was talking to you and your horse steped on my foot, luckly we were in soft sand).
Missed Kenny too. I probably would not recognize him unless somebody introduced us. Heck, Dave Wheeler introduced me to Trevor during the paddle in! Can you believe that?
I remember when Kenny (and Bobby Johnson, Jojo Perrin, Rod Davis, etc.) was one of the "big" guys when Dusty and I were little gremlins. It is amazing how a couple of years makes a difference when you are young.
I live on Venice beach now and have a sailboat in the Marina. If your ever "in the area", call me (310-387-7712 or email bobbybishop@ca.rr.com) and we'll go for a sail in the bay.
I am going to stay in touch more these days for I was planning to meet up with Dusty at our 40th reunion this month and get him out sailing. I already have Bill Carter and Trevor coming out and hope for more.
Hope all is well and the fire missed your place.
